Reach Up, Reach In, Reach Out

We are about the mission that Jesus set us on years ago. We want to Reach Up (Love God), Reach In (Love People), and Reach Out (walk in the ways of God...being a disciple).

One of the hard issues of today's culture is that people often look back at the Bible and ask "What does such an old book have to do with me today? That story was finished years ago." As Christians, we believe that God's story is not over yet. We believe that we are living God's story with our lives today.

We seek to become the kind of people that God has asked us to be, and live our lives in the ways that he has shown us how to live. To be a Christian in today's world is a little counter-cultural. We believe that there is not only a God, but His way is the best possible way to live. We have stumbled across a different way to live than what is out there and we can't help but say "Yes, sometimes life sucks but I know a better way to deal with it. I know God who has a plan for my life."  Learning to love God with our lives is a powerful motivator in this group of people. We have come to know that there is something in this world that is bigger than us

In our process of learning who God is, we have started to understand who we are. When we start to see who we are and who God has asked us to become, it makes it a lot easier to see other people. God wants all of humanity to walk in his ways because he knows the best possible way for us to live. We seek to live in these ways and we invite others to join us on that journey.
